Cold Slither, a band based on the fictional group from the 1985 animated series G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero, is rocking this summer with a new single, “Thunder Machine,” as well as a full-length album named after the band, dropping July 25. Preorders are available now for the album, with a special “Dreadnok Attack Orange” marble vinyl variant, available at Reigning Phoenix Music, Amazon, Amoeba, and select indie record stores.
The band, composed of members from bands Gruesome, Exhumed, Impaled, KMFDM, Union Black, and Left to Die will also be doing a one-night live performance during Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) at Brick by Brick on July 24. Fans attending the convention will also be able to purchase exclusive vinyl variants, with Hasbro‘s booth having the “Zartan Chameleon Blue” variant and Reigning Phoenix Music’s booth having the “Blood Moon Red” variant. Tickets for the live performance are available now on the venue’s website.
