Fans of the mobile app, Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) Pocket, will soon encounter new booster packs, called Deluxe Pack: ex.
From Sept. 29 through Oct. 29, players can open packs from sets previously encountered in the game, from the Genetic Apex set to the Wisdom of Sea and Sky set. Packs include all four-diamond rarity cards released in previous booster packs.
Each pack comes with four cards, one of which is a guaranteed four-diamond rarity or higher, offering fans the opportunity to collect highly sought-after cards they may have missed with previous releases. Certain cards from previous collections will also be released with new illustrations, with some featuring a new parallel foil design for collectors to find.
Several events are planned during the one-month release period: Raichu ex Drop Event (Oct. 5-15); a Bonus Week mission event where players can earn more rewards like pack hourglasses (Oct. 11-18); a Wonder Pick Event where players can try their luck to find the legendary Pokémon Shaymin and Dark-Type Pokémon Absol promo cards (Oct. 12-22); and a Parallel Foil Cards Mass Outbreak Event, where players can find the unique cards in rare and bonus picks (Oct. 22-28). Players can complete in-game missions to earn shop tickets and other items.
