Bauen, the award-winning children’s furniture brand, is expanding its reach across retail and trade channels through partnerships with Mainsoette and select brick-and-mortar retailers, as well as launching its Bauen Trade Program.
Developed in early 2025, Bauen quickly rose to acclaim for its focus on children’s furniture that prioritizes safety and durability. The brand’s furniture, including tip-resistant chairs and spill-proof tables, was featured in Fast Company and recognized with a 2025 iF Design Award. Each piece is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, is non-toxic, and made in the USA with EU-certified materials.

Bauen’s partnership with Mainsonette and brick-and-mortar stores brings the company to a broader audience of consumers. The Bauen Trade Program, an initiative designed to support interior designers and commercial retailers seeking family-friendly furnishings, will further the company’s belief that children’s furniture can be beautiful and safe.
“We set out to build the kids’ products we wished existed,” says Lynn Rouse, Bauen’s co-founder. “We’ve been energized by the response from families who are excited about safer, more versatile play furniture they don’t want to hide away. We’ve built a bit of a cult following and now, through our partnership with Maisonette, new retail partners, and our trade program, we’re delighted to make BAUEN more accessible than ever.”
