TeamFalco expands its team by appointing David Hutchinson as Creative Director. With Hutchinson, the IP development studio and agency will boost development for its slate of animated shorts and series for YouTube.
Before TeamFalco, Hutchinson worked at WildBrain, where he created animated hits like Boy & Dragon and Emojitown. The writer, director, and showrunner also developed series with notable commercial partners, such as Crayola and Radio Flyer. As the Creative Director, Hutchinson will help TeamFalco transition into teen and adult content while maintaining its animation format.
The addition of Hutchinson scales the agency’s mission to shape the future for IP owners, game studios, and production brands. With a strategic focus on YouTube, TeamFalco will continue to build IP across various media platforms, including gaming, streaming, social, and audio spaces.
“David is a creative force, full stop. He’s delivered ground-up platform original hits across audiences and formats, and brings the kind of experience people in the YouTube space often claim to have, but rarely actually do,” says Nico Lockhart, Managing Director at TeamFalco.
