Due to popular interest, Goldin is expediting the date for its Pokémon & TCG Auction. Now opening Jan. 5, the landmark auction features rare items, including Logan Paul’s Pikachu Illustrator PSA 10.
As the world’s only example graded PSA 10, the Pikachu Illustrator is commonly regarded as the pinnacle of Pokémon and trading card game (TCG) collecting. This collector’s item is designed by the original illustrator of Pikachu, Atsuko Nishida, featuring distinct artwork and the iconic pen symbol. The card, formerly consigned by entertainer Logan Paul, will be available for the first time in years at the Pokémon & TCG Auction.
The event will also feature more than 300 lots, ranging from graded Pokémon cards to rare TCG items. Notable pieces include a 1999 Pokémon Base Set 1st Edition Holo Charizard, a 1999 Pokémon Base Set 1st Edition Factory-Sealed Booster Box, and Ken Sugimori’s signed and framed “Dawn” original artwork. This year will also include sealed Pokémon video games and TIME Magazine’s November 1999 cover featuring Pikachu and Charizard.
The auction opens Jan. 5 at 8 p.m. ET and closes on Feb. 15. There will be an extended bidding period beginning at 10 p.m. ET that evening.
