Mattel is officially launching its new Mattel Brick Shop brand, which was announced earlier this year, with a new wave of Hot Wheels building sets for adult collectors.
“Hot Wheels has fueled the passion of car enthusiasts for generations, and with Mattel Brick Shop, we’re giving fans an entirely new way to engage with their favorite vehicles,” says Roberto Stanichi, Executive Vice President, Global Head of Vehicles and Building Sets at Mattel. “This collection brings together the thrill of Hot Wheels with hands-on creativity, allowing builders to customize, collect, and display their favorite cars like never before.”
There are three different Hot Wheels collections available at different price points. The Speed Series are 1:32 scale sets that retail for $22 and are designed for customization, coming with extra wheel covers and licensed decals. The Speed Series also comes with a 1:64 metal car to display alongside the building set. The Speed Series is launching with sets based on the Cadillac Project GTP Hypercar, the Maserati MC20, and the Custom ’68 Camaro.

The next level up is the Elite Series, a line of 1:16 vehicles that retails for $54 and comes with extra parts, metal wheel covers, licensed decals, and a matching 1:64 metal car. The Elite Series is launching with the Corvette Grand Sport, the ’90 Acura NSX, and a Custom ’62 Chevy Pickup, which even comes with a surfboard in the back.
Finally, the collection is rounded off with the Premium Series, a 1:12 collectible set made with metal parts that comes with extra metal wheel covers, licensed decals, and a matching 1:64 car. The Premium Series is launching with the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL.
