Mattel is releasing UNO Wonder, a new mobile app for fans of the classic card game, through a joint venture with Mattel163, its publishing and development studio, and game services provider, NetEase.
UNO Wonder encourages players to explore the world on a cruise adventure through more than 100 bustling cities like Barcelona, Florence, Rome, Santorini, Monte Carlo, and more. Players sail to iconic landmarks and collect stickers featuring fun facts about the places they visit with each winning hand. Winners can add the Beverly Hills sticker from their journey through Los Angeles, the Colosseum sticker that marks their victory in Rome, and the paella sticker from Barcelona to their digital scrapbooks.

Players can decide if they want to follow the game’s classic rules or spice things up with reimagined gameplay. Users can expect new action cards like the Skip-All that skips everyone so it’s their turn again, the Number Tornado that discards numbered cards one through nine from their hand, and more. Players will also experience new levels and challenges like boss battles, which are obstacles along the journey.
The app is available for offline play, so users can play solo or connect with friends in multiplayer mode. Players can even climb the leaderboards to prove their skills worldwide.
UNO Wonder is available now for preregistration on the App Store and Google Play. Players who preregister will unlock in-game rewards like a new avatar frame, animated effects, and more. The game launches globally Sept. 17. Existing players of other Mattel163 games UNO! Mobile, Phase 10: Casual Card Game, and Skip-Bo Solitaire Card Game can unlock additional bonus items for preregistration.
