Ten years in, the Moose Happy Kids Foundation has brought happiness amid hardship to kids and families across the globe. As Moose Toys’ philanthropy celebrates its 10-year anniversary, it’s already looking ahead, aiming to create another 10 million “superhappy” smiles by 2035.
“The Foundation was built on a simple idea: that every child deserves moments of joy, no matter their circumstances,” says Paul Solomon, Executive Chairman of Moose Toys. “Over the past 10 years, we’ve seen firsthand how something as simple as a toy or a moment of play can bring comfort, laughter, and hope to children going through incredibly difficult times. We look forward to continuing our mission of bringing joy and smiles to children and their families around the world, while expanding our charitable partnerships and reaching even more communities in the years ahead.”
Since its launch in 2015, the Moose Happy Kids Foundation has supported more than 5 million kids and families in need through toy donations, play experiences, and other life-changing programs. Alongside contributing more than $21 million AUD to charities and hospitals, it has also partnered with more than 100 organizations across eight countries, from local initiatives to global charities, including Clown Doctors Australia, Dream Doctors, Healthy Humor, Save the Children, and more.
By its 20-year milestone, the Foundation aims to expand its reach even further to bring the power of play to another 10 million kids in hospitals, shelters, and crisis centers around the globe.
