DEAFHAVEN RELEASES THEIR 6TH STUDIO ALBUM LONELY PEOPLE WITH POWER
Deafhaven is a black metal/post-rock band formed in 2010 by George Clarke and Kerry McCoy. Since their first demo, the band has been making a name for themselves in the genre and pushing boundaries on the idea of metal, described by Rolling Stone as “boundary-pushing blend of black metal, shoegaze and post-rock.” Deafhaven has received several nominations and awards for their previous works, such as 12th best album of the year in 2015 for New Bermuda. Lonely People With Power is the band’s 6th studio album, which they teased back in January and have since released two singles that will make an appearance on the album. A DESTROYER ALBUM UNLIKE ANY OTHER: DAN’S BOOGIE
Destroyer is a band known for its variety of musical influence and differing albums that create a new and unique sound in each era. Formed in 1995, the band has a lengthy discography sitting at 13 studio albums, with Dan’s Boogie coming in at #14. Destroyer’s overall genre is best described by several magazines and critics as indie rock, combining aspects of several different genres like lo-fi, rock, indie, and more. Along with the mesmerizing musicality of Destroyer’s albums, the lyrics also prove to be a powerhouse of metaphor. Many magazines and news reports have given Destroyer’s lyricism and albums high ratings for its dedication to the artistry. LUCY DACUS RELEASES HER FOURTH STUDIO ALBUM FOREVER IS A FEELING
Lucy Dacus, from Richmond, Virginia, is a singer-songwriter known for her alternative sound and activities in indie supergroup boygenius alongside Julien Baker and Phoebe Bridgers. boygenius has won 3 grammy awards in 2024 for their excellence in the indie genre. Lucy Dacus grew up in Mechanicsville, Virginia in an artistic family and gained interest in music at a young age. Lucy’s first album No Burden landed her her first record deal in 2016. Noted for her vocal powerhouse and unique lyricism, Lucy Dacus is a force to be reckoned with in the indie and alternative scenes.

CHASE ATLANTIC’S LOST IN HEAVEN GETS A LONG AWAITED VINYL RELEASE!
Originally released in November of 2024, Lost in Heaven is Chase Atlantic’s fourth studio album featuring some of the group’s most well-received singles like “MAMACITA” and “DOUBT IT.” Chase Atlantic was formed in 2014 in Australia by Christian Anthony and brothers Mitchel and Clinton Cave originally featuring on season 4 of the X Factor. The trio is well-known for their unique sound in the alternative R&B genre, pushing the limits as to what music technology is capable of. Chase Atlantic’s fame began rising in 2015 thanks to the internet fame of their song “Friends” being used in several video edits and earning them a record deal. Chase Atlantic is also widely known for their song “Swim” from the 2017 studio album Chase Atlantic. Their fourth stuio album Lost in Heaven further pushes their genre sweeping boundaries and brings a new meaning to alternative music!
