MANNEQUIN PUSSY’S SECOND ALBUM ROMANTIC GETS A NEW REISSUE!
Originally from Philadelphia and formed in 2010, Mannequin Pussy is an indie rock band that places emphasis on using music to bring people together. Formed by two school friends Missy Dabice and Athanasios Paul, Mannequin Pussy started as a duet before recruiting drummer Drew Adler in 2013 (Adler left in 2015, with Kaleen Reading taking the reigns). Missy Dabice says her writing is usually a solitary process but when opening up to collaboration, she’s gotten “electric” reactions and tons of new musical ideas. Mannequin Pussy’s music can be described as an indie rock commentary on social issues and finding yourself.

PINBACK’S INFORMATION RECEIVED IS BACK ON VINYL!
Pinback is an indie rock band formed in 1998 by duo Armistead Burwell Smith IV and Rob Crow and the addition of current drummer Cameron Jones. Pinback got their name from the 1974 film Dark Star and have used samples from the movie in much of their music, making is a staple in the fandom. Information Received is the band’s 5th studio album originally released in 2012 from Temporary Residence. Information Received started as a couple single releases before a full album drop in October of 2012 and features songs inspired by films, a classic Pinback inspiration. The Dandy Warhols is an alternative rock band from Portland, Oregon originally formed in 1994. The band started off playing in bars and grew a reputation for their shows, later releasing their first EP in 1995. In 1997, they entered the UK Top 40, proving their potential. Over their career they’ve experimented with different psychedelic, alternative, and power pop sounds creating the unique Dandy Warhols sound. Noted as “Nordic death metal legends,” Cadaver is a metal band on and off activity from the late 80s to present day. SOPHIE has been regarded as a leader in the contemporary British hyperpop wave of the 2010s. Her progressive sound has been described as “sugary” with a lot of synths and dance music. Oil of Every Pearl’s Uninsides is SOPHIE’s debut album originally released in 2018 before her death in 2021. Oil of Eevery Pearl’s Uninsides was met with Grammy nominations and wide critical acclaim after its release and was given a remix album in 2019. This debut album is noted as a wide mix of genres and experimental sounds with a unique sound and is a must-listen for pop and hyperpop lovers!

His 6th studio album Outer Peace was released in 2019 with a unique experimental synthwave and dance music style.
