Universal’s Wicked licensing program continues to grow ahead of the Nov. 21 theatrical release of Wicked: For Good. Families can add Glinda- and Elphaba-inspired Build-A-Bear plush to their toy box, while collectors can clear shelf space for new figures from Mattel Creations.
The Build-A-Bear line features two limited-edition bears and accompanying outfits, straight from the screen. The collection will be available Oct. 29 at Build-A-Bear Workshop locations and online at buildabear.com. New York residents and visitors can find it now at FAO Schwarz in New York City.
The Wicked Glinda Bear has pink fur, a heart-shaped nose, and pointed eyelashes. This popular plush also has blue-and-pink swirled fabric in her ears and on her bottom paws. The Wicked Elphaba Bear has green textured fur and raised eyebrows. She also has green-and-black fabric in her ears and on her bottom paws.
Kids can dress their plush pals in outfits and accessories seen in Wicked: For Good, including Elphaba’s sharp hat, black gown, shoes, and her trusty broomstick. Families can add Ozmopolitan flair to playtime with Glinda’s sparkly, cool-toned dress, crown, and wand. The line also includes various accessories, such as a bear-sized shirt featuring the Wicked logo.
Additionally, Wicked fans and collectors can purchase Mattel Creations’ Wicked: For Good Forever Changed Musical Keepsake 2-Pack Oct. 29. The collectible is inspired by Elphaba and Glinda’s musical duet, “For Good,” featured in the upcoming film. The figures, dressed in detailed outfits seen in Wicked: For Good, spin together on the gold pedestal while a clip of the song plays.
The Wicked: For Good Forever Changed Musical Keepsake 2-Pack will be available exclusively at Mattel Creations starting Oct. 29. For more information, visit creations.mattel.com.
