ZAG has named Ian Lambur Executive Vice President of the ZAGTOON Series Department, a newly created role reporting directly to Founder, CEO, and Chief Creative Officer Jeremy Zag.
“Ian brings a rare combination of strategic insight, operational excellence, and deep industry experience,” Zag says.
The appointment marks a return to ZAG for Lambur, who previously held senior leadership roles at the company and brings extensive experience in content strategy, production, and global co-productions.
“I’m incredibly happy to be returning to ZAG,” Lambur says. “Having worked with Jeremy and the teams in the past, I know firsthand the creative ambition and entrepreneurial spirit that define the studio. ZAG has grown tremendously, and I’m honored to rejoin the company.”
Lambur joins ZAG from Cloudco Entertainment, where he served as Executive Vice President of Content Strategy and Co-Productions. In his new position, he will oversee the global execution and business performance of all ZAGTOON television series, including sales strategy, broadcaster and platform relationships, and production oversight. Working closely with ZAG’s creative leadership, Lambur will support the long-term growth and international positioning of the company’s animated franchises. He will be based in Los Angeles.
In addition to series operations, Lambur will spearhead the development of master toy partnerships across ZAG’s intellectual property portfolio, aligning television strategy with consumer products initiatives in collaboration with ZAG’s global licensing ecosystem. His remit includes flagship properties such as Ghostforce, as well as multiple new projects currently in development, spanning ZAG Heroes and preschool-focused content.
Lambur previously served as Executive Vice President of Production, Distribution, and Co-Productions at ZAG and has held senior roles at The Jim Henson Company, The Walt Disney Company EMEA, and Guru Entertainment.
