Golden Sombrero Licensing & Consulting has been named the official business development partner for Uglydoll. This marks a new chapter for the lifestyle character brand as it reintroduces its quirky cast to a global audience.

Fans have celebrated its distinct style at Uglycon events across Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo, and Seoul, cementing its status as both a pop culture fixture and a lifestyle icon. A 2019 film featured voices from Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas, Blake Shelton, and Wanda Sykes.

Uglydoll is preparing a retail comeback beginning this year with classic best-sellers, fan favorites, and new character launches. Surprise box mini figures will return soon after, followed by a broader lifestyle licensing rollout in 2026. The brand will place a renewed focus on Asia while continuing to engage collectors, fans, and specialty retailers worldwide.
