Legendary Luchador Fray Tormenta Partners with Masked Republic

Most wrestlers get all the fancy ladies, and the clothes, and the fancy creams and lotions, but the Mexican wrestler who inspired the 2006 comedy Nacho Libre has never had his own licensed merchandise — until now.

Mexican wrestling icon and priest, Fray Tormenta, is stepping into the ring with Masked Republic to create his first officially licensed products. Aided by Fray Tormenta, Jr., one of many orphans Tormenta mentored and inspired, the company intends to shine a light on the man behind the mask, preserving the luchador’s legacy of love for years to come. 

The partnership’s first line includes four T-shirt designs in various colors and styles, each retailing for $24.99. Fans can collect the luchador posing with finger guns, preparing for a Holy Fight, or sporting his iconic golden mask. Every penny of profit will go directly to Tormenta and the many philanthropies, organizations, and orphanages he continues to support.
