McFarlane Toys has a lot of fun in store for fans of Poppy Playtime. Following the launch of the series’ fifth chapter, the toymaker is joining forces with Mob Entertainment to recreate the video game’s colorful cast of creeps as action figures.
Fresh from the factory, the Poppy Playtime collection features four figures, each inspired by a toy from the horror survival game. Fans can grab Huggy Wuggy, Killy Willy, and Harley Sawyer at mass retailers, as well as an exclusive Kissy Missy figure, only available at GameStop. The entire collection is available for pre-order now, with shipping slated for May.
All of the core 7-inch figures combine traditional articulation with a flexible, wired base, allowing fans to bend and stretch the characters to recreate their curving movements. The sets also include a variety of accessories, such as swappable heads and hands, Boxy Boo and Poppy minifigures, and connectable display bases. Collectors can display the figure in its themed window-box packaging or open the case.
Each collectible is also available in 4.5-inch and 12-inch sizes. Forgoing the wire skeleton, these versions are fully flexible for extra fear factor.
