Slowdive is an English band that takes over the shoegaze genre, a transcendental genre combining distorted guitar riffs, ethereal vocals, and loud swirling noises. Since their inception, Slowdive has been a key player in this indie genre. Slowdive came to be in 1989, but broke up in 1995 after the release of Pygmalion. In 2014 however, they rejoined to release two subsequent albums and have been back on the scene ever since. Stepping into the scene in 2019, Sleep Theory is a contemporary nu-metal and rock band from Memphis, Tennessee. They are known for combining R&B with hard rock and metal sounds for a fresh and unique outlook on rock. SNAG DINOSAUR JR’S REISSUE OF WITHOUT A SOUND!
Dinosaur Jr. is an indie rock group originally formed in 1984 under the name Dinosaur. Much of their earlier albums feature a harder rock and punk sound later softening to more indie and lo-fi beats. Dinosaur Jr.’s 6th album Without a Sound, originally released in 1994, is thought to be one of their most successful albums on the market and has been noted as one of the top albums that defined 1994. It was revealed that member Mascis’ father’s passing had “hung over the album” influencing its sound and production. Without a Sound is now regarded as one of the top indie rock albums!

COMEDY DUO FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS’ SECOND ALBUM GETS A REISSUE!
Originally beginning as a comedic duo, Flight of the Conchords is a musical duo from New Zealand. Over the course of their careers they have earned several awards for their comedic shows and music and have been nominated for the Emmy awards. Originally, the duo came from a group called So You’re a Man and went on to record for BBC radio several times. They also had their own show on BBC as well. Flight of the Conchords combines the best of comedy with the best of music in alternative and pop genres for a unique sound!

RAPPER KEN CARSON’S MORE CHAOS GETS A VINYL RELEASE!
Ken Carson is a rapper hot on the scene from Atlanta, originally participating in the legendary hip hop production and writing group 808 Mafia. He gained notice from his SoundCloud releases in 2017 and worked with other known SoundCloud rappers. In 2019 he was picked up by Playboi Carti’s label Opium and released his first two EPs. His second studio album X, released in 2022 garened more fame as it entered the Billboard Top 100.
