Gaming enthusiasts can play their favorite childhood games with Nintendo’s upcoming releases. Continuously expanding its video game arsenal, the company announces remastered games, music, and more for audiences of all ages.
Originally released in 1996, the Tomb Raider franchise is popular in the gaming community and will receive a remastered version for newer generations. Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered includes Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles, and Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. Players can unveil the secrets of Lara Croft’s past and uncover the mystery of her disappearance when the collection launches on Feb. 14, with preorders available now on Nintendo eshop.
Consumers who grew up with the Game Boy Advance can experience more Nintendo Classics with the release of Wario Land 4. With a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership, players can help Wario uncover a pyramid filled with riches in this retro platform adventure. Wario Land 4, like Tomb Raider IV-VI, will be available starting Feb. 14.
Gamers can stack their way to victory with the Tetris 99 45th MAXIMUS CUP event. By playing the Tetris 99 online mode, Nintendo Switch Online members can earn 100 event points to unlock a new theme inspired by DK and Diddy Kong from Donkey Kong Country Returns HD. The event will run from Feb. 13 at 11 p.m. PT to Feb. 17 at 10:59 p.m. PT.
Nintendo Music also features the nostalgia of retro gaming with a new soundtrack and playlist. Consumers can listen to the Golden Sun soundtrack to relive classic Game Boy Advance RPG themes or play “The Final Battles” playlist to experience final boss tracks from Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Splatoon, and more.
