Among the favorite elements during the beloved Krakoa era of X-Men was the annual Hellfire Gala, a storyline across all the X-Books marking huge events for Marvel’s “merry mutants.” The event was so popular that an actual live in-person Hellfire Gala took place at San Diego Comic-Con 2023. Sadly, with Krakoa era now a thing of the past, fans assumed so too was the Hellfire Gala. Out of the ashes though, Marvel has announced a special X-Men: Hellfire Vigil one-shot.
Available this July, this giant-sized one-shot written and drawn by the current creators of the X-line including Jed MacKay (X-Men), Gail Simone (Uncanny X-Men), Eve L. Ewing (Exceptional X-Men), Luciano Vecchio (Uncanny X-Men, Storm), Javier Garrón (Uncanny X-Men), Sara Pichelli (Scarlet Witch), and more. The issue will feature covers drawn by ut covers by Luciano Vecchio, AKA, and Mateus Manhanini.
